Scouts centenary woods

During 2007 the Woodland Trust have teamed up with The Scout Association to offer all Scouts the chance to plant trees as part of the 2007 centenary celebrations and their own Tree For All campaign.  Barnard Castle Beavers are planting trees at the Ark on the Edge Animal Shelter and Rescue in November 07.

With the help of The Scout Association The Woodland Trust aim to plant at least 100 Centenary Groves – these will be new areas of native woodland, each made up of thousands of trees.

These sites will be planted throughout 2007, either in the period January - April or October - December.
