Resh and Naz from Spice Island came to our meeting on the 14th of January 2011

They came to help us earn our Global Challenge

We tasted food from Bangladesh two curries a Korma and a Bhuna.

We learnt about life in Bangladesh and how the ladies came to live in Barnard Castle and the differences they found.

We have also made an instrument from another country - a Rain stick.

We have learnt to say hello in Indian and some other languages.

We still have 2 more challenges to complete before we have earned our badge.
